Hasnul Zulkarnain, yang terserempak dengan mereka di Tol Jelapang pada tengah hari tadi, sempat merakam dan memuat naik video serta gambar mereka di Facebook, cetus rasa simpati netizen.

"Kisah sangat sedih dan sayu. Saya bertemu dengan lima beranak ini jam 1.25 petang, 13 September 2016 di Tol Jelapang. Mereka lima beranak dari Pulau Pinang nak balik ke kampung mak mertua di Kampung Simee, Ipoh, Perak.

"Saya bersimpati sangat terhadap mereka sehingga menitis air mata. Saya tahan motosikal mereka untuk beri sumbangan. Saya sangka hanya empat orang, rupanya lima orang naik satu motosikal dan ada seekor kucing dalam raga motosikal.

"Doakan keluarga ini selamat dan dipermudahkan hidup mereka," katanya.



Difahamkan, Hasnul telah cuba menawarkan diri untuk menumpangkan mereka ke destinasi, namun si ibu menolak pelawaan Hasnul.

Status Hasnul itu mendapat 10,300 perkongsian di Facebook. Kesemuanya mendoakan agar keluarga itu selamat sampai ke destinasi.
