Kuala Lumpur: Pelakon Raja Ilya perlu menjalani pembedahan susulan bagi membuang 12 ketulan yang tumbuh di beberapa bahagian badannya akibat kesan sampingan daripada suntikan vaksin yang diterimanya selepas digigit kucing peliharaan, baru-baru ini.

Raja Ilya berkata, selepas disuntik, ketulan-ketulan besar seperti tumor tiba-tiba timbul di beberapa bahagian badannya dan dia segera mendapatkan rawatan di hospital.

"Doktor memberitahu ketulan itu disebabkan reaksi vaksin dan kes saya adalah satu dalam sejuta," katanya.

Ilya berkata, disebabkan kondisinya kronik, doktor memaklumkan peluang hidup adalah 50 peratus dan dia dimasukkan ke Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU) selama 14 hari sebelum Ramadan lalu.

"Rasa sakit seperti nyawa hendak putus. Syukur saya pulih selepas doktor membuang dua ketulan berisiko tinggi.

"Kini saya sudah pulih dan boleh mula bekerja seperti biasa, cuma saya masih perlu menjalani pembedahan kedua untuk membuang baki ketulan dan akan melakukannya selepas selesai penggambaran filem KL Vampire," katanya.

Dalam pada itu, Ilya menjelaskan pendiriannya mengunci mulut mengenai keadaan kesihatannya sebelum ini kerana merasakan ia kurang sesuai dengan situasi dihadapi ketika itu.

"Saya tidak mahu membesar-besarkan perkara itu. Hanya keluarga terdekat saja tahu masalah ini," katanya.
