PELAKON jelita Nora Danish meminta pihak Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) untuk mempertimbangkan pelepasan cukai bagi golongan selebriti bagi menampung kos ‘penampilan diri’ yang sinonim dikaitkan dengan golongan yang terlibat dalam industri hiburan tanah air.
Ini kerana menurutnya golongan selebriti perlu berbelanja besar untuk kekal cantik dan kacak menawan seperti mana yang dituntut pekerjaan mereka.
Memetik laporan sebuah akhbar, Nora berkata, “Bagi saya sebagai rakyat Malaysia memang ini adalah tanggungjawab kita (membayar cukai). Cuma apa yang saya harap ada sikit pelepasan buat selebriti macam kami ini.”
“Bukan apa, dalam waktu sekarang kami banyak mengeluarkan wang untuk penampilan diri.
“Jadi, ini adalah sebahagian daripada kerja dan ia barangkali boleh dimasukkan sebagai kos kerja kami,” katanya.
