Woo Nina Grace, 19, dari Johor mengucapkan dua kalimah syahadah pada 12.05 tengah malam sejurus soalannya dijawab Dr Zakir.
Gadis itu bertanyakan kepada Dr Zakir bahawa dia sudah mendalami Islam sejak berusia 13 tahun dan adakah dia boleh dianggap sebagai seorang Muslim kerana mengamalkan surah al-Fatihah, tiga Qul dan ayat Kursi.
Pelajar berkenaan kemudian bertanya adakah dia tidak menghormati Islam dengan berbuat sedemikian?
Dr. Zakir Naik terus menjawab : Tidak.
Dr. Zakir Naik kemudiannya bertanya kepada pelajar tersebut beberapa soalan sebelum mengajaknya mengucap dua kalimah Syahadah.
Dr. Zakir : “Adakah kamu percaya hanya ada satu Tuhan?”
Grace : “Ya”
Dr. Zakir : “Adakah kamu percaya Jesus itu Tuhan?”
Grace : “Tidak”
Dr. Zakir : “MasyaAllah.. Adakah kamu percaya Nabi Muhammad pesuruh Allah?”
Grace : “Ya”.
Selepas beberapa siri soalan dan penjelasan lagi, gadis tersebut bersetuju untuk mengikut Dr. Zakir mengucap dua kalimah Syahadah.
Pendakwah itu kemudiannya berkata, sekiranya sudah percaya dengan dua perkara itu mengapa dia tidak mengucap dua kalimah syahadah.
Sejurus kemudian, gadis itu terus mengikut Dr Zakir mengucap dua kalimah syahadah.
