Lelaki tersebut, Deepak, tidak menyangka bahawa isterinya tergamak mendera dan memukul anak mereka yang baharu berusia setahun, lapor portal berita ANI.

Wanita berkenaan, Poonam, berasal dari Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India dirakam memukul dan mencekik bayi malang itu.

“Saya mengesyaki bahawa isteri saya memukul anak kami, dengan itu saya memasang CCTV (dirumah),” kata Deepak, dipetik sebagai berkata.

Menerusi rakaman CCTV itu, ibu dan kanak-kanak tersebut dilihat duduk di atas katil sebelum secara tiba-tiba Poonam meletakkan lengan di leher bayi itu dan mengangkatnya.

Tidak hanya mencekik anaknya, Poonam kemudiannya menolak dan memukul bayi itu berkali-kali dengan tangan.

Menurut laporan Hindustan Times, Deepak berkata, dia mengesyaki anaknya didera selepas mendapati terdapat kesan lebam pada badan bayi itu.

Menerusi rakaman tersebut juga, Deepak kelihatan tidak dapat menahan sebak ketika mencerita nasib menimpa anaknya itu.

Deepak telah menyerahkan rakaman itu kepada pihak berkuasa dan mahu isterinya dihukum atas perbuatan tersebut.
