Kenyataan Tentang Cukai Dimanipulasi : Nora Danish Bakal Ambil Tindakan Undang-Undang

Gara-gara mengeluarkan kenyataan tentang pengecualian cukai terhadap selebriti bagi menampung kos penampilan diri telah dimanipulasi sesetengah pihak, Nora Danish telah menerima pelbagai kecaman.

Tidak mahu berita tidak benar terus tersebar, Nora memberitahu beliau bakal mengambil tindakan undang-undang kepada mereka yang menyebarkan segala fitnah tentang kenyataannya itu.

Pada 3 November 2016, saya telah ditemubual oleh Utusan Malaysia. Kenyataan yang telah saya beri dalam temubual tersebut telah disalah tafsir dan dimanipulasi oleh beberapa organisasi media dan portal online.

Sesi temubual tersebut dan kenyataan-kenyataan saya telah diambil luar daripada konteks dan telah disensasikan oleh beberapa akhbar, blog dan pelbagai media secara amnya, termasuk dan tidak terhad kepada tajuk laporan seperti Nora Danish Memohon Agar Artis Diberikan Pengecualian Cukai Untuk Kelihatan Cantik.

Disebabkan keadaan ini saya tiada pilihan selain melantik Tetuan David Gurupatham & Koay sebagai peguam saya bagi mengambil tindakan undang-undang serta merta kepada pihak yang telah menyebabkan fitnah sedemikian.

Menurut Nora, beliau tidak pernah menyatakan bahawa perlunya pengecualian cukai terhadap golongan selebriti tetapi hanya memberikan komen tentang penolakan di bawah  39 Akta Cukai Pendapatan 1967.

Nora akui kehidupan peribadinya, perniagaannya, hubungan dengan pihak ketiga yang tiada kena mengena dengan isu panas itu telah menerima kesan kebencian , penghinaan sehinggakan ia menimbulkan skandal.
